FDN validation: checking our EFRIS document

We prepare the reference and date for the official URA check.

What FDN means

FDN means Fiscal Document Number. URA’s FDN Validation page describes a 12 to 20 digit number assigned to a transaction for tax purposes. We use the reference on the received document; we do not reconstruct it or validate it locally based only on its length.

Checking through the official service

We open the official URA FDN validation page and follow “Click for EFRIS FDN Validation”. URA’s EFRIS guidance says to locate the fiscal document validation window, enter the FDN and its generation date, then click “Validate”. We compare the returned details with the invoice or receipt, including issuer, date and amounts. This check sends no tax identifier or document to CassKai.

Discrepancies or missing results

We check the input, retain the reference and ask the issuer for clarification. URA guidance allows invalid documents to be reported through its reporting workflow. If the portal is unavailable, we retry or contact URA; this alone does not establish validity. If we intend to claim a tax deduction, we confirm the conditions for our transaction. A technical result alone does not guarantee deductibility.
