A regional instant payment system
PI-SPI is BCEAO’s interoperable instant payment system platform. The launch announcement of 30 September 2025 describes an instant, interoperable system available continuously across the eight WAEMU countries, connecting payment service providers. We check with our provider which services our business can actually access.

34 licensed institutions: scope of the list
On 8 October 2026 BCEAO published a list as at 31 August 2026: 34 licensed payment institutions in WAMU. Below we reproduce their names by country from the official PDF. A payment institution licence establishes neither connection to PI-SPI nor integration with CassKai. This list does not cover all possible PI-SPI participants, such as banks and electronic money institutions.

What we can prepare in CassKai
Existing collection workflows use CinetPay and PayDunya, configured by our company with the required credentials. We confirm countries, payment methods and terms with the provider for our contract. We announce no direct connection to PI-SPI or integration with the other listed institutions. We track payment references and reconcile supporting records using available features; a third party’s licence does not certify CassKai.
